When I was in high school, I swear it only cost me $16. Or something like that.
If everyone else feels like I do, the entire United States just groaned in agony, and are all seriously considering taking the bus to work on Monday.

in high school i could fill up my 20 gallon van for under $20. when i came home from my mission, $1.60 seemed really high for gas. and in college, $2.22 was too, too, too much!
I'm now paying over $50 to fill up either of our cars. :( Good thing is that Julie works just a few miles from the house, and I take Trax most days (so my tank now lasts 3 weeks). It's sad that just a few years ago gas at $2.50/gallon seemed like an insane amount . . . now I'd kill for it!!
